Paper by Nature Certification
What is Paper by Nature?
Each product's environmental impact has become increasingly important in decision-making processes of European consumers.
The paper sector has responded by incorporating different regulations and recommendations resulting in the creation of numerous labels that have only resulted confusing the consumer more.
Paper by Nature’s objective is to offer European consumers the first global, pan-European, clear and trustworthy reference for converted paper products.
It integrates environmental best practices from the selection of raw materials to the final product.
Why is Paper by Nature unique?
Paper by Nature is the only existing pan-European eco-label dedicated to converted paper products.
The eco-label was launched by key players from the paper and paper converting industry: federations of converters MECSEA*& FEPE** and paper manufacturers Stora Enso, UPM Kymmene and ArjoWiggins.
The Paper by Nature label is awarded after the satisfactory completion of requirements - determined by an audit by Bureau Veritas Certification.
