Nanotechnology
Hundreds of everyday products have been improved by the manipulation of matter at the molecular level and dramatic breakthroughs in medicine and other industries look promising. But, as research and development in this area grows, many experts worry about the interactions between these tiny particles, the environment, and the human body.
Join Bureau Veritas for this big webinar about tiny matter. Joe Fater, CIH, Bureau Veritas’ Technical Director - Industrial Hygiene, and Alan Segrave, PG, Division Manager – Laboratory Services, will introduce you to the world of nanoparticles and the challenges that industry could face regarding employee health and safety in the workplace.
Joe will discuss the fundamental concepts, industrial applications, and implications of recent research. Alan will continue with a discussion of various air sampling and analytical methods. They will wrap up by summarizing the controls that can be put in place now in a market that is expected to expand to $1 trillion dollars by 2015.
