What activities are involved in container certification?
Container certification activities include factory approval, design approval and specification reviews, prototype test attendance, approval delivery in conformity with international regulations, mass-produced container certifications and batch testing during mass production. Statutory and non statutory activities include on-hire and off-hire inspections, owner's acceptance inspections, 2.5 and 5 years periodic inspection for tank containers, and In-service inspections.
