    The Certification of USDOT Hydrostatic Facilities is required every five years to qualify or re-qualify manufactured items such as cylinders, spheres, and tubes.  These items are used to transport dangerous goods as well as hold its rated pressure.  The recommendation of an independent inspection agency must accompany a testing facility’s license renewal application.  Bureau Veritas is an approved USDOT Independent Inspection Agency capable of re-qualifying a facility.  Bureau Veritas is currently one of the few Independent Inspection Agencies that is Certified and Registered to ISO 9001 for Design and Performing of Third Party Inspection and Testing Services for Government and Industry.
