IMPARTIALITY STATEMENT
Managing Impartiality and Conflict of Interest for GHG Verification Activities to Ensure Objectivity
Bureau Veritas Certification understands the critical issues associated with identifying and managing conflict of interest issues that can affect, or have the potential to affect verification processes related to GHG assertions by its clients. Procedures have been established and implemented to ensure that our verification processes are impartial, our personnel do not have conflict of issues with verification work for any client, and that Bureau Veritas Certification does not have client or other relationships that have the potential to affect our verification decisions. These procedures are designed to ensure objectivity for all verification activities and to provide a high level of confidence that Bureau Veritas Certification meets all accreditation requirements for GHG verification practices.
Bureau Veritas Certification has a complaints and appeals process that is available on request for all issues or decisions made related to GHG verification activities for clients and stakeholders. Please contact Shireesh Bhatnagar at 281-310-3115 to obtain a copy of this procedure.
