What are Plan Reviews?
For new construction, modernization and renovation projects, NEIS certified personnel review installation approval drawings that are submitted by the vertical transportation contractor to verify compliance with the specifications and applicable codes. NEIS certified personnel make final reviews of all drawings to re-confirm compliance with applicable codes and contract documents prior to equipment installation. During each review a report will be submitted noting any deficiencies and required revisions. This service assures that the vertical transportation equipment is to be furnished in accordance with the contract specifications and complies with applicable codes.
