Bureau Veritas has over 20 years of experience performing asbestos analyses using methods from ASTM, EPA, NIOSH, AHERA, and ISO. Our experts have extensive knowledge of applied microscopy in diverse scientific fields, such as mineralogy, geology, materials science, and engineering. We currently offer the following routine services in our Kennesaw, GA laboratory:
- Fiber Counts -- Air samples analyzed by phase contrast microscopy (PCM) and identification of all fibers by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), selected area electron diffraction (SAED) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS)
- Bulk materials -- Analyses of bulk materials by polarized light microscopy (PLM) and quantitative asbestos analysis by TEM

Soil and Vermiculite -- Quantitative procedures for asbestos in soil and vermiculite
